Hotlink Celebrates Chinese New Year With Sarawak Customers With Exciting Rewards

Hotlink customers in both Sarawak and Sabah had their share of celebrations when they were treated to festive activities at events that took place in both states.

In Kuching, Hotlink organised a radio contest together with MY FM, which required customers to come up with creative slogans on why they should be chosen to win RM888 worth of ang pow or a home visit by the Hotlink and MY FM Kongsi Huat crew to their homes.

In the contest which ran from 4 to 16 February, five winners received the ang pow prize of RM888 and another five won the home visits, where they were presented with gift hampers, ang pow and Hotlink goodie bags, as well as a performance by a lion dance troupe.

Alexius Bong, Maxis' Head of Sarawak Region said, "For this year's Chinese New Year celebrations, we wanted to make it extra special for our customers in Sarawak by teaming up with MY FM for the contests. It was a real hit and the reaction from the winners' spoke volumes! For Hotlink, we were happy to have shared this special experience with them."

The Chinese New Year celebrations in Kota Kinabalu were equally festive, where approximately 8,000 Sabahans made their way to Hotlink's annual Chinese New Year roadshow, which took place on 17 February, and was packed with exciting activities and performances.

In its commitment to building tech-savvy and forward-thinking leaders, Maxis has launched three new scholarships to support the aspirations of bright and deserving young individuals. Candidates can apply for the Maxis Women in Tech Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship, Maxis Tech Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship and the Maxis Young Leaders Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship.
