Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) - Maxis Postpaid 98 Promotion Sabah/Sarawak

  1. The Promotion: RM10 monthly bill rebate for eligible customers for twenty-four (24) months upon signing up for Maxis Postpaid Share 108 (“Plan”) during the Promotion period.

  4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC
  5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
  6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Plan(s) and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Plan(s) and Service(s) at, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or Plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.

    Promotion Offerings

  7. This Promotion offers eligible customers RM10 bill rebate per month on the Plan for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The commencement of the rebate will be subject to your bill cycle, which means the rebate may only be reflected in the bill second month onwards.
  8. The Promotion period is from 26th February 2018 until further notice.


  9. Subscriptions for the Plan must be submitted by walking in to Maxis Centres, Maxis Exclusive Partners or authorized dealers in East Malaysia. If you are not already subscribed to the Plan with a billing address in East Malaysia, you must do so within the Promotion period
  10. You acknowledge and accept:
    1. in a period of 3 months, an average of 75% of the Plan usage of unlimited minutes and SMS’ must be utilized from the Sabah, Sarawak, or Labuan, i.e. Average Usage Requirement.
    2. The Mobile Internet package allocated within the Plan is exclusively for domestic usage only. For clarity, 50% of your time spent using this Mobile Internet package, within a period of 3 consecutive months, must not be outside of Sabah/Sarawak/Labuan.
  11. A principal line must be registered in your name and be an active account under the Plan offered by us. You are not entitled to the bill rebate if your account under the Plan is suspended at the point of bill rebate assignment.
  12. You are ineligible for this Promotion if you have any outstanding payments with us.
  13. This Promotion is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber, permanent, contract, temporary employees of Maxis and staffs of Maxis Centres & Maxis Exclusive Partners (MEPs).

    Things we may do to the Promotion

  14. We reserve the right to alter, amend and/or discontinue the Promotion, the Promotion period and the terms & conditions of the Promotion without any prior notice.
  15. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Promotion, Service(s) and/or Plan(s) for such period of time as we deem fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Promotion, Service(s) and/or Plan(s) if your usage:
    1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
    2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
    3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at;
    4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes
    5. of the Mobile Internet package, unlimited minutes and SMS’ is not in accordance with the Average Usage Requirement as per Clause 10 above.
  16. We reserve the absolute right at any time without assigning any reasons thereto to cancel, terminate, postpone or suspend indefinitely the Promotion.

  18. By terminating the Plan(s), the contract(s) for the devices taken up under the Plan(s) will also terminate and you agree and accept that early termination and/or other charges under your Maxis Device Contracts for the modem and/or smartphone under the Plan(s) will apply.
