Cease Renewal of Maxis Spotify Subscription
I receive an SMS which states that my Spotify subscription will not be renewed anymore?
Spotify is streamlining their subscription options and ending all subscriptions via 3rd party (in this instance Maxis). Therefore, the Spotify Premium subscription by Maxis has ended in Oct 2019 and will not be renewed. You may continue charging this service to your Maxis bill by re-subscribing to the Spotify Premium service via www.spotify.com with your existing login details.
What happens to my current playlists when I re-subscribe to Spotify?
Not to worry, you will still be able to access to your current playlists when you re-subscribe to Spotify at spotify.com by using the same login credentials.
How do I subscribe to Spotify and charge the subscription to my Maxis bill?
Go to spotify.com and log in or sign up for a Spotify account.
Select ‘Get Premium’.
Select ‘Pay by mobile’.
Select Maxis as your payment partner, enter your details and continue with the payment.
You will receive an SMS confirmation on your successful subscription.
My previous Maxis Spotify subscription was RM14.90/month but the Spotify Premium service on www.spotify.com is RM15.90/month. Why is there a difference?
RM14.90 was the offer price of Spotify Premium by Maxis which is no longer available.
