Maxis Home 4G WiFi Bundle

  • The Bundle is a complete Home Internet package, ready-to-use without installation consisting of a Maxis 4G router, SIM card and FREE 30-days of Unlimited 4G WiFi at RM299. You can activate the service anytime digitally.

  • The Maxis Home 4G WiFi plan available at Maxis Centres & Maxis Online Store requires immediate activation with rateplan advance payment. This Bundle does not require immediate activation and it is available exclusively at Lazada and Hotlink stores.

  • Registration and activation for the Bundle is done digitally without any physical touchpoint. You may also purchase this Bundle at Lazada or Hotlink Stores as a gift for your loved ones. There is no rateplan advance payment needed and you will also get to enjoy FREE 30-days of Unlimited 4G WiFi upon activation.

    Beside this, if you choose the 12-month contract option for the rateplan, you’ll enjoy a monthly deduction of RM20 for your subscription at only RM118/mth (compared to the normal RM138/mth fee).

    • If you are an existing Maxis customer and Maxis app user, please ensure that your Maxis app is updated to the latest version before logging in to activate the service.
  • We apologize for the inconvenience caused. You need to walk-in to the nearest Maxis Centre for activation. Please bring along the complete Bundle box and packaging, together with the Maxis 4G router and SIM card. Our team needs to validate the device serial number before activation.

  • After you activate your service via the Maxis app, please also register for a Maxis ID via the Maxis app with your email address. Login with your email address and you can view your bill and make payments from there. Besides this, we also recommend that you sign-up for eBill in the Maxis app to avoid additional charges for paper bills. You will receive an email to verify your email address once the eBill delivery option is selected.

    If your Maxis Home 4G WiFi is activated manually at Maxis Centre, please sign up for a Maxis ID via the Maxis App with your email address. Login to Maxis App with your email address and you can link your account and subscribe to eBill. Please contact us at 1 800 821 123 if you need assistance.

  • You may upgrade the rateplan to the RM118 plan by walking-in to the nearest Maxis Centre or by contacting us at 1 800 821 123 or 123 from your Maxis Mobile. This plan will come with a 12-month contract.

  • The RM118 plan come with a 12-month contract. Once you have selected this plan, changing of rateplan or termination before contract expiry will be subject to penalty.

  • This contract will start together with the FREE 30 days Internet, and you will be billed accordingly once the 30 days period is over.

  • You can terminate the service by walking-in to the nearest Maxis Centre or by contacting us at 1 800 821 123 or 123 from your Maxis Mobile

  • Yes, you may terminate the service during this period if you selected the RM138 Cancel Anytime plan. However, if you have signed up for the RM118 12-month contract plan, penalty will be applied if you terminate the service.

  • You do not need to return the device as it is an outright device purchase.

  • Yes, penalty applies (RM20 x remaining months’ contract) if you terminate the service.

  • Maxis 4G WiFi router comes with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. If the router is not working and within the warranty period, replacement can be made at any Maxis Centre.

  • Here are some tips for better WiFi performance:

    • Place router in a central location preferably closer to window for better 4G signal.
    • Ensure your router is placed in an open area and away from electronic devices and obstructions.
    • Restart your router at least once a month for optimum performance.
  • Speed experienced may be different based on factors such as the number of devices connected to the router, positioning of the router as well as the device LTE category

  • Yes. You can use the Maxis Home 4G WiFi for WiFi-calling if you have a compatible phone and your mobile service provider has enabled the service.
