Penempatan Persendirian Maxis Menjana RM1.7 Billion


Berikutan kenyataan yang dikeluarkan petang semalam, Maxis telah mengumumkan bahawa latihan pembinaan tempahan (book-building) bagi terbitan 300 juta saham baharu Maxis secara penempatan persendirian kepada pelabur telah selesai. Ia telah mendapat permintaan daripada pelabur institusi tempatan dan asing dimana dengan tempahan telah terpohon beli berlebihan (oversubscribed). Harga terbitan telah ditetapkan pada RM5.52 bagi setiap penempatan saham, iaitu diskaun kira-kira 6% pada harga penutup Maxis pada 16 Jun 2017. Hasil yang diperoleh daripada laithan penjanaan dana ini adalah lebih kurang RM1,656 juta. Ekuiti baharu ini akan mengukuhkan kedudukan kewangan Kumpulan Maxis dan akan memberi fleksibiliti untuk membiayai yuran penguntukan spektrum masa depan dan strategi pertumbuhan. Kami menjangkakan penempatan persendirian ini akan selesai pada akhir bulan Julai 2017.

Maxis launches three new scholarships in building future technology and innovation leaders

In its commitment to building tech-savvy and forward-thinking leaders, Maxis has launched three new scholarships to support the aspirations of bright and deserving young individuals. Candidates can apply for the Maxis Women in Tech Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship, Maxis Tech Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship and the Maxis Young Leaders Undergraduate 2020 Scholarship. Due to the overwhelming response received from applicants, the initial submission deadline of 31 August has now been extended to 14 September to allow more students to apply.
