Altimet Exclusively Premieres New Music Video, 'Aku Tahu', On The Hotlink RED App

Local hip-hop star, Altimet, exclusively premiered his new music video entitled ‘Aku Tahu’ on the Hotlink RED App yesterday at 8 pm, enabling Hotlink customers to be the first to watch the music video of his brand new single. An hour prior to the premiere of the music video, fans were also able to follow Hotlink (@hotlink) on Periscope, a live video streaming app, where they took part in a live Q&A session with Altimet, which marked the very first time he has conducted a live video chat with fans. Fans had to post their questions with the hashtag #HotlinkAkuTahu.

“Once again, Hotlink is bringing another first to our customers by premiering Altimet’s new video exclusively on the Hotlink RED App and making the experience with their favourite artist more memorable and inclusive on their mobile devices via live interaction on Periscope. We’re always looking at ways to enhance our customer’s experience on the app and to give them something extra that can’t be found anywhere else. By teaming up with Altimet, Hotlink is also continuing its efforts in championing local music and talents, by giving them a platform to showcase their latest work and reach out to their fans,” said Navin Manian, Maxis’ Head of Prepaid.

Previously, Hotlink has partnered with other local artists such as indie band, Hujan, to introduce exclusive, never before seen photos and videos encapsulating the band’s 10-year journey. Hotlink was also one of the main sponsors of this year’s recently concluded Akademi Fantasia and has partnered with The Wknd to launch The Wknd Sessions Live and The Wknd Recording Fund to help nurture up-and-coming artists.

The Hotlink RED App (which is now available in BM) is a self-serve app that enables customers to top up, check their balance, load up their mobile data and so much more. The Hotlink RED App is available for download on Google Play for Android users or the App Store for iOS users. First-time Hotlink RED App users will also get 1GB data for free for a limited time only.
