To send a Voice SMS to one person
You can use any mobile phone.
To send Voice SMS to more than one person
You need to use a supported mobile phone, including: Nokia 3230, Nokia 3650, Nokia 3660, Nokia 6260, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6670, Nokia 6680, Nokia 7610, Nokia 7650, Panasonic x700, and the Siemens SX1.
You need to activate your GPRS if you haven't already. Click here to do so now

How to send Voice SMS to one person |

Step 1
Key in **<recipient's phone number> (e.g. **012XXXXXXX) and press "Call".
Step 2
Follow the voice prompts, record your message (up to 30 seconds) and hang up when you complete your recording.

Downloading the application
You can download the application using the myMaxis Mobile Portal (WAP).
Step 1
Connect to the myMaxis Mobile Portal.
Step 2
Go to "Downloads" and proceed to "More Downloads".
Step 3
Select "Symbian App". Now, select "Voice SMS" and click OK to start downloading the application. (Alternatively, the Voice SMS application is available under the "Community" link)
Sending Instant Voice SMS
You can send instant Voice SMS from your mobile phone. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1
Go to your mobile phone menu and select the Voice SMS icon to open the Voice SMS application.
Step 2
Select "Options" and click "Open" to access your phone book list. You can select names by clicking on the box next to the person or select "Mark" on the persons you wish to send a Voice SMS to.
Step 3
To send a voice message immediately, go to "Options" and select "Instant Voice SMS". Then select "Maxis WAP GPRS". It will start connecting.
You will receive a call from the Voice SMS system. Follow the voice prompts to record your message and hang up when you complete the recording.
Step 4
The voice message will be sent immediately to the people you selected.
Sending Reserved Voice SMS
You have the option to send a Voice SMS at a desired date and time. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1
Go to your mobile phone menu and select the Voice SMS icon to open the Voice SMS application.
Step 2
Select "Options" and click "Open" to access your phone book list. You can select names by clicking on the box next to the person or select "Mark" on the persons you wish to send a Voice SMS to.
Step 3
To send a voice message at a later time, go to "Options" and select "Reserved Voice SMS". You will need to enter a desired date and time. Then select "Maxis WAP GPRS". It will start connecting.
You will receive a call from the Voice SMS system. Follow the voice prompts to record your message and hang up when you complete the recording.
Step 4
The voice message will be sent on a predefined schedule to the people you selected.

How to retrieve messages from the Voice SMS inbox (*1*) |

Enter *1* on your mobile phone to retrieve messages from the Voice SMS Inbox. You can retrieve a maximum of 5 messages. Retrieving voice messages is free.

Voice SMS is for calls to Malaysian fixed and mobile numbers only. |

Voice SMS can be received while roaming; applicable roaming charges apply. However, you cannot retrieve Voice SMS from your Voice SMS Inbox (*1*) overseas. |
