This guide will help you better understand your new Maxis bill. While your bill now comes in separate sections, it is still linked to one another.

Below are the sections in your Maxis bill. Please refer to it for explanations on how to read each section of the bill.

Voice calls between principle and supplementary limits enjoy a 20% discount. Family Plus voice calls that exceed 20 hours free calls will also appear in this section.

9 Registration Charges
Includes all registration charges for Value-Added Services and the one-time Connection Fee.

10 Monthly Charges
Include monthly Access Fee and promotional rebates.
Note: For your first bill, the "Monthly Access Fee" is pro-rated from the date your Maxis mobile service was activated to the date of the first Statement of Account.

11 Value-Added Services
Includes all monthly fees for Value-Added Services

12 Usage Charges
Total of all your airtime charges including Voice and Data Calls.

13 Advantage Savings
Rebates are awarded for early bill settlements.

14 Other Charges & Credit
Miscellaneous or ad-hoc charges and reimbursements.

15 Discounts & Rebates
Promotion discounts and rebates offered.

16 Current Charges Before Tax
Total charges before service tax.

17 Service Tax
5% service tax on monthly fee and usage charges including calls received while roaming. Monthly fee for Internet-related service (e.g. WAP) and calls originated from Langkawi/Labuan are non-taxable.

18 Total Current Charges
Total charges for the current month.

19 Payment Slip
For mail-in payments: Please detach, complete details on reverse side and remit this portion with your payment.

For payments over the counter at post offices and banks. Please DO NOT detach this portion as it is required for validation and receipting purposes.
