For Monthly Pass users - To conserve your volume allocation and avoid exceeding your volume cap, we recommend that you purchase a Time-based Pass (1 Hour or 1 Day Pass) if you are surfing data-intensive sites (e.g. viewing videos or pictures on your mobile).
Starting 16 August 2010, there will be new data charges based on the industry’s standard practice. The new charges are – RM0.10/10KB from 7am - 2am and RM0.05/10KB from 2am – 7am. The average price per KB will remain unchanged.
Certain software/applications which is used by a small number of customers to send and receive files containing very large amount of data (including without limitation traffic from peer-to-peer software/applications (such as BitTorrent, eDonkey, Gnutella) or file sharing software (such as Limewire)). These activities may cause network congestion and can negatively impact the speed at which other customers can access the internet. Maxis does not guarantee a service level and/or connectivity to users of peer-to-peer or file sharing software/applications.
