Terms and Conditions
   
Kababayan SIM is a new Hotlink plan packaged specially for Filipino migrants working in Malaysia. This plan entails similar and existing Hotlink functionalities and features. The additional services that this plan offers, amongst others, are:
   
a. Preferential rates on IDD calls and SMS to Globe Telecom network only.
b. Filipino VAS (Value Added Services) content download.
   
1. DEFINITIONS
   
  The following words and expressions shall mean:
   
 
  "call credit(s)" means the airtime purchased by Subscribers when they top up their Hotlink Account.

"Globe Telecom" means Globe Telecom Inc, a telecommunication company registered pursuant to the laws of Philippines and having its address at 5th Floor, Globe Telecom Plaza Tower II, Pioneer corner Madison Sts., Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

"Hotlink" is the brand name of the prepaid mobile telecommunication services provided by MMSSB, subject to the Hotlink Service Terms & Conditions.

"Hotlink Account" shall have the same meaning as "Account" defined in the Hotlink Service Terms & Conditions.

"Hotlink Service Terms & Conditions" refer to the terms and conditions for the Hotlink prepaid services, which is included in the Starter Kit purchased by the Subscriber or can be viewed at www.hotlink.com.my.

"IVR" means Interactive Voice Response. It is a telephone technology in which someone uses a touch-tone telephone to interact with a database to acquire information from or enter data into the database.

"MMSSB" refers to the Maxis Mobile Services Sdn Bhd (73315-V).

"IDD" means International Direct Dialing.

"SMS" means Short Messaging Service.

"Subscriber(s)" means an individual subscribing to the Hotlink prepaid services (including those subscribing for this plan), which is governed by the Hotlink Service Terms and Conditions and these Terms and Conditions (if applicable).

"Special IDD" means special IDD call rates which are currently being offered to Hotlink subscribers calling their most frequently called country.
   
  Words capitalised but not defined in these terms and conditions shall take the same meaning as those defined in the Hotlink Service Terms and Conditions.
   
2. PREFERENTIAL RATES
   
2.1 Subscribers would automatically enjoy preferential rates for IDD calls and SMS made from Malaysia to Globe Telecom network only.
   
2.2 You acknowledge and agree that the preferential rates for IDD calls and SMS may be subjected to changes.
   
2.3 The existing roaming charges would apply for Subscribers who are roaming to countries as specified in www.hotlink.com.my.
   
2.4 Rates offered by MMSSB under this plan are subject to changes and MMSSB reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to set any quota for, or replace or withdraw rates at any time.
   
3. OTHERS
   
3.1 MMSSB may determine and impose further additional fees and charges, and may vary or revise any or all of them from time to time and such variation or revision shall take effect as from the date determined by MMSSB.
   
3.2 All of the services specified above are subject to these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions set out by MMSSB (including but not limited to the Hotlink Service Terms and Conditions) and/or the relevant merchants as listed in www.hotlink.com.my.
