The BlackBerry® is capable of automatically connecting to a roaming operator network when you travel abroad. However to avoid getting high bill charges, we recommend turning off this function. To do this, please follow the guide below:


Go to Home Screen
Click on Options
Click on Mobile Network
Under Data Services, ensure the Roaming option is OFF

Advanced Access Mobile Internet Plan (Fair Usage Policy)
The Fair Usage Policy means that customers on our Advanced Plan will be able to browse freely up to 6GB worth of data usage. After 6GB, Maxis reserves the right to apply any treatment, including throttling the speed charging or total blocking. However, at this given point in time, Maxis does not enforce this policy even though we reserve the right to do so. Should Maxis decides to take any of the above actions in the future, we will give all our customers on the Advanced Data Plan sufficient notice before we start enforcing this policy.
