3. How much is the entry fee? |
|

The entry fee is RM248 per person

4. Is this a team event? How many players in a team? |
|
| |
| |
This is the first year we are having a singles format - every one participates as an individual. There are 3 categories A, B & C Medal. Best player in each category and Gross winner qualifies for Grand Finals and to make up a team for Grand Finals.

5. How do I find a partner? Must he or she also be a Maxis customer? |
|
| |
| |
This year for the first time, we are having a singles format which means you can participate as an individual without a team.

6. Who can take part in this tournament? |
|
| |
| |
The tournament is organised only for current active postpaid and fixed line Maxis customers with MGA or USGA recognized handicap.
|

7. Can I take part if I am a Maxis staff, or prepaid, or coporate customer? |
|
| |
| |
Sorry sir/madam. Maxis staff and prepaid customers are not eligible to take part. However, Maxis corporate customers are allowed to take part, subject to further verification by Maxis, before acceptance.

8. What sort of prizes can I expect? |
|
| |
| |
The following are the prizes offered:
1) Trip to overseas golf experience for Grand Finals for:
• Winner of A Medal
• Winner of B Medal
• Winner of C Medal
• Gross Champion
2) Prizes for 2nd & 3rd placing for A, B & C Medal
3)Nearest-to-Pin (Sure win) prizes for each round
4)Hole-in-one prize: BMW 523i
Lucky Draws
Note: Players who win prizes in the Team / Individual / Novelty categories are not eligible for the Lucky Draw.

9. Can I compete in more than one event? |
|

| |
There is no limit to the number of qualifying attempts. Participants may sign up for more attempts but subject to availability of spots and at Maxis's discretion.
Teams and individuals who have qualified for the Grand Final are not entitled to compete in remaining rounds.

10. What does my entry fee cover? |
|
| |
| |
It covers the green and buggy fees, breakfast and lunch. A Goodie Bag will be given away on competition day and there are attractive prizes to be won.

11. What form of payment can l make for my entry fee? |
|
| |
| |
Cheque by post/by hand, credit card (Visa/MasterCard only) and cash (by hand only to the event organisers' office).

12. What does the goodie bag consist of? |
|
| |
| |
Trolley Bag, t-shirt, visor, socks & golf tees valued at a total of RM450.

13. How do I send in my entry? |
|

By filing up the required information, you may either send it by mail with cheque enclosed or by facsimile, stating your credit card number on the entry form. Alternatively, you can send online via

14. What if I cancel my participation? Do I get a refund? |
|
| |
| |
A full refund minus RM5 handling charge per golfer will be entertained if a cancellation is made more than 30 days before an event.

15. What if I cancel less than a month to go? |
|
| |
| |
We will refund 50% of the entry fee. But if you cancel two weeks or less, there is no refund.
|

16. What is the closing date for entries? |
|
| |
| |
Two weeks before event, subject to availability of spots.

17. Who is organising the tournament for Maxis? |
|

| |
Golf People Sdn Bhd. It is a professional event management company with many years of experience in running golf tournaments and has been our event organiser since the tournament started.
