What is the benefit in signing up for Value Plus Internet?
Value Plus Internet is a comprehensive plan with pre-bundled Internet, voice and SMS in a single plan. It’s open for both Principal and Supplementary lines.
Can I subscribe for other Maxis Internet rate plan like Maxis Monthly Internet Pass?
The plan already provides you with sufficient monthly Internet allocation; hence you do not need to add on another monthly pass. However in the event of hitting your quota limit before end of bill cycle, you can choose to top-up additional Internet Allocation (on time basis) via Maxis *136*9#.
How can I check how much have I used for the bundled minutes for talktime, SMS and Internet Allocation?
You can check your Internet Allocation usages via Maxis *100#. At this moment you are not able to check your bundled minutes for talktime or SMS.
What are the plans offered?

Plan Features
What does Monthly Commitment Fee mean?
The monthly commitment fee is a fee that the customer needs to pay on a monthly basis in order to enjoy the free minutes, SMS and Internet that is allocated based on the subscribed package.
Will I be tied to a contract if I sign up for this plan?
No, these plans do not come with any contract requirements.
what can I do with allocated SMS / Minutes?
You can send domestic on and off net SMS and domestic on and off net calls based on the pre-allocated amounts of SMS and Minutes tied to the Value Plus Internet Plans.
Can customer subscribe to the Value Extra Plans with the VPI plans?
YES. Same as the other existing postpaid plans, customer can subscribe to Value Extra with these VPI plans.
If I sign up to Value Value Plus Internet, which will be used up first? Value Extra or the allocated Voice/ SMS?
If customer signs up for a Value Extra bundle, the allocation from Value Extra will be exhausted first before the allocation of the base plan. (example: Free onnet SMS)
Can customer upgrade from VPI50 TO VPI80? Or Upgrade from other plans?
Upgrade is allowed. However, if customer is switching from a plan which has a contract term, the standard termination guidelines apply.
If monthly allocation is not fully utilised, can it be carried forward?
NO. The free allocations (Internet, Minutes, SMS) cannot be carried forward. It will be automatically forfeited upon completion of bill cycle.
Will my monthly voice, sms and Internet allocations tied to the Value Plus Internet be pro-rated?
Yes. The monthly allocations (Voice, SMS and Internet) will be pro-rated from the plan activation date to the end of next available bill cycle date.
Is the Monthly Internet Quota Allocation applicable when I roam?
No. The Internet Quota is for domestic use only.
Can I change rate plan after I’ve subscribed to the Value Plus Internet plans?
Yes, you can change to another Value Plus Internet plans or any other Maxis existing rate plans after you have subscribed to this new plan so long you’re not contracted to the plan.

No, the advance payment will be knocked off in customers' first month bill.

Can I get 20% discount call between principal line and Supplementary Line?
Yes you can.
Is credit (usage) sharing applicable between the principal and supplementary lines?
No you cannot share the allocation of Voice, SMS and Internet Allocation between principal and supplementary lines for Value Plus Internet plans. The allocation is for individual plan only.
If I’m a Principal holder of Value Plus Internet 50/80, can I sign up to other Family Plan and not Value Plus Internet 30?
Yes you can.

iValue Plans are contracted with iPhone device, whereas Value Plus Internet is a standalone postpaid plan without contract.

Value Plus Plans is a commitment based plan without Internet allocation hence you will need to bolt-on to a Internet bundle separately. Whereas for Value Plus Internet, this plan comes with a pre-bundled of Internet.

What do I need in order to use Mobile Internet Facebook Pass?
In order to use Mobile Internet you require the following:
1. GPRS or 3G activated (To activate, dial *136# or call Customer Service)
2. To get the right phone settings for your device and to activate your GPRS/ 3G settings, dial *100#, go to 'Internet and Settings' and select 'Phone Settings'.
How much is a Mobile Internet Facebook Pass?
The passes start from RM3. You will be shown the price of each package before you make a purchase or subscribe to a pass.
How long is my pass active for?
Your pass is active upon activation of pass (ex: 2X24hrs for 2 days and 5x24hrs for 5 days)
When will my pass expire?
Your pass will expire based on 2 conditions:
1) Once your pass time duration has expired
2) If you have used up your allocated volume quota (MB) of browsing on other internet sites, your UNLIMITED Facebook browsing end and your pass will be terminated. (Ex: 2Day 10MB Facebook Plan: Once the 10MB browsing usage has been exhausted, the UNLIMITED Facebook browsing will also expire and the pass will terminate)
What does UNLIMITED Facebook include?
UNLIMITED Facebook includes the following ONLY:
- http://m.facebook.com/* (accessible via the Facebook mobile browser only)
- Facebook Java Application (downloadable Facebook Java app)
What does UNLIMITED Facebook NOT include?
UNLIMITED Facebook access does NOT APPLY to the following:

Yes. Although you may purchase the Facebook pass, the unlimited browsing only applies to browsing of m.facebook.com over your mobile browser (ex: Safari / Andorid browser). Note that it does not apply to your mobile's Facebook Application (app). Please see No.7
What is the difference between www.Facebook.com and m.Facebook.com?
www.facebook.com refers to the Facebook full website which is accessible via your PC, and if you click on Facebook Full Site in your mobile browser (which is not covered under unlimited Facebook browsing) m.facebook.com refers to the mobile friendly version of the Facebook site which is accessible via your mobile native browser.
Where can I download the Facebook Java App?
Dial *100#, select ‘Internet and Settings’, then ‘UNLIMITED Facebook’, then 'Facebook Java App'.
Does my phone support the Facebook Java app?
The Facebook Java App is a proprietary of Facebook and it supports 2500 mobile devices. If your phone does no support the download, it will fail. Maxis however is not responsible for download failures and issues pertaining to the java app. You will not be data charged on the downloading of the Facebook Java AppHow much do I have to pay if my usage exceeds the volume cap of the Facebook pass (i.e. 10MB)?
Your pass will automatically terminate once you exceed your (MB) quota. If you continue browsing either on Facebook or any non-Facebook sites after you have exceeded your capped amount, you will be charged the Pay-Per-Use rate if you are not subscribed to any Monthly Pass.
For example, if you have a 2 Day 10MB Facebook pass and have used up all your 10MB within 24 hours, your pass will automatically terminate and then you will incur pay-per-use charges.
Note that when you hit 80% and 100% of your volume quota usage, you will automatically receive an SMS informing you of your usage at that moment.
I had subscribed for a 2Day 10MB Facebook Pass and have fully utilized the maximum volume quota before the 48 hours is up, can I re-subscribe to another 2Day 10MB Facebook Pass?
Yes, your previous 2Day Pass will expire allowing your to purchase another Facebook pass.
You can have only one Time Based or Facebook pass (non-monthly pass) and one Monthly pass at the same time. One cannot subscribe to 2 Time-based or 2 Monthly pass at the same time.
Can I subscribe for a Facebook pass and a Monthly Pass together?
You can have an active Facebook Pass and an active Monthly Pass (i.e. 500MB, 1.5GB and 3GB) at one time.
However, a Time pass will always be utilized first if it is still active, once the Time-based pass expires, then the Monthly pass automatically becomes active.
I purchased my current device with a data package which I am contracted to. Can I purchase the Facebook Pass?
No. If you are currently on an iPhone, Black Berry contracted plan, you will not be able to purchase any Facebook passes.
Can I unsubscribe from a Facebook pass?
No. the pass will expire automatically when the duration of the pass has expired or you have reached the capped (MB) limit.
How will I keep track of my usage of my Mobile Internet pass?
You will be able to track the expiry and accumulated usage via your phone. Just dial *100#, select 'Internet and Settings', select 'UNLIMITED Facebook' and choose 'Check Status'.
Could I purchase a Quota Upgrade with a Facebook Pass?
No, this pass does not entitle you for Quota Upgrades.
When will I get notification SMS' for my pass usage?
When you hit 80% and 100% of your volume quota usage, you will automatically receive an SMS informing you of your usage at that moment.
Also at any time, you can go to the 'Check Status' option in the 'Mobile Internet' menu to check on your exact usage (MB/GB) at that time.
Am I charged each time I check my Mobile Internet usages?
No, it’s a free service.
Where can I purchase Facebook passes?
Dial *100#, select ‘Internet and Settings’, then ‘UNLIMITED Facebook’ to see what are the Facebook passes on offer.
When will I receive an SMS notifications for Mobile Internet service?
Some of the instances where an SMS notifications are sent are:
- The pass is activated
- When your volume quota is used up and also when your pass expires.
Am I charged for the SMS notifications?
No, all the SMS notifications for Mobile Internet are free.
How am I charged for Mobile Internet Facebook Passes when I am roaming?
If you have an active Facebook pass, then you will only be charged for the foreign data charges. Otherwise, if you do not have an active data package OR you have exceeded your volume cap on your data package, then you will be subject to the two different charges by the foreign (overseas) roaming operator and the local (Maxis) operator.
Would the speed for data connection reduce when I exceed the volume cap of my Monthly pass?
No. Unlike the other telcos, we do not reduce our speed when you exceed your capped limit.
I do not want to receive the SMS notifications. How do I cancel it?
Sorry, unlike other promotional SMS’ selling services and products, the SMS notifications for Mobile Internet is intrinsically part of the service and cannot be cancelled.
Can MISM customer subscribe to the time based passes?
Only primary line can subscribe, all the secondary SIMs data plan will automatically follow the primary Time-based data pass.
Can SIMM customer subscribe to the time based passes?
Yes, Both the primary and secondary line can subscribe for the time pass or the monthly pass.
