Paying Your Bills

STEP 1 Understanding The Bill

Comprises of 3 main sections:

  1. Statement of Account
    Gives you a quick look at your Maxis account statement details.
  2. Account Summary
    Will be included if you have more than one Maxis line. It breaks down your charges according to each line.
  3. Details of Charges
    Gives you a more detailed breakdown of your monthly charges. For example:
    • Unbilled amount consists of the current charges that are not included your monthly bill yet.
    • Current billed amount is the unpaid balance of the current month’s bill
    • Total amount due includes current billed amount and any other outstanding from your previous bills

Note:

  1. Monthly invoices are billed once a month with a 30 day credit term for Mobile, Wireless Broadband, HOME & Fixed Services.
  2. Maxis will attempt to send notifications to remind customers on overdue bills prior to the account from being interrupted due to non-payment.
  3. Notifications will be sent via SMS, calls to customers as well as voice messages.
  4. An overdue bill payment is subject to 1.5% interest on outstanding amount.

 

STEP 2 How To Pay My Bills?

    Note: The credit card and Maxis account number(s) you choose from the Pay via Phone service must be registered in your name.

    Bill payments can be made via:
    • CIMB Kiosk at any Maxis Centres near you (except Langkawi and Miri)
    • Over-The-Counter at:
      • Maxis Centres near you
      • Maxis Authorised Dealers (MEP)
      • POS Malaysia Bhd
      • Bank Simpanan Nasional
    • Online Banking or E-Banking via CIMB, Maybank , Citibank , RHB, Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank, United Overseas Bank, AmBank, Bank Simpanan Nasional & Standard Charted Bank
    • ATM machines at any Public Bank, Maybank, Hong Leong Bank, Bank Simpanan Nasional & CIMB
    • Pay By Phone via Maxis Pay-By-Phone, Maybank, HSBC, Public Bank & MBF
    • Petrol mart at any e-Pay terminal via BHP Petrol, Caltex, ESSO, Mobil & Petronas
    • Direct Debit via:
      • Standing instruction via credit card (VISA ,MasterCard, AMEX & Diners) – link to details
