Unlimited Calls and SMS pass

The 1 Day Unlimited Calls and SMS pass costs RM15 and allows you to make and receive unlimited calls and SMS within the country you’re roaming, as well as calls and SMS back to Malaysia.
- Your first 3 SMS will be charged at RM3 total.
- After that, you enjoy unlimited calls and SMS for the rest of the day at RM15.
- IDD calls and SMS (to other countries) will be charged separately on a pay-per-use basis.

This pass is available country-specific in the following countries:
Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.Important:
The pass only applies to the country where you purchase it.
Example: If you buy the pass in Singapore but travel to Indonesia on the same day, you will need to purchase a new pass for Indonesia. -
The pass is automatically activated when you either:
- Make or receive any calls, or
- Send more than 3 SMS in the roaming country or back to Malaysia.

The 1 Day Unlimited Calls and SMS pass is valid for 24 hours from the time of activation.
You can check your pass validity anytime via:
- The Maxis app, or
- Dial *100# > International Roaming > Check Status (Easy Menu).

No, the pass only covers traditional cellular calls and SMS.
Calls or messages made via apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype, and similar services use your data quota. These will be deducted from your active roaming data pass.

Calls made through apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype, etc., rely on an internet connection rather than the traditional cellular voice network. Therefore, when you use these apps to make calls while roaming, the data consumed by the call will be deducted from the data quota of your active roaming pass.
