These plans are available to business users registered under a Business Registration number. Individual users are not applicable.
How do I choose the right Business Broadband plan?
You can choose your plan based on the following:
1. The preferred quota amount necessary for your business use.
2. The number of users sharing the quota.
Can I register for a plan without a modem?
No, this service is not available as a standalone SIM plan.
Is there an advance payment necessary to subscribe to this plan?
No, business users are waived from paying the advance payment.
Do these plans come with call and SMS?
Yes, these plans offer you a certain number of free minutes. The amount differs based on the package you have subscribed to. Pay-as-you-use charges may apply to usage above the free minutes.
What are the devices bundled with these plans?
When you register for any of these plans, you will be entitled to a free modem for your data usage and a free DECT phone for your call usage. The device brand and model may vary based on availability.

Do I need to pay any deposits?

Yes, there is a 12-month contract for any of these plans.
How much do I need to pay for a modem?
With our Business Broadband packages, the devices are given to you at no added cost.
What if I have an existing Business Broadband package with Maxis? Am I able to upgrade or downgrade my package?
If you have an existing Business Broadband package, you will need to complete your contract before you are able to upgrade or downgrade your package. Else, the penalty of RM300 will apply.
What is the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) for my Maxis Pocket WiFi service? What happens if I exceed my FUP?
Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is to ensure all customers can get good browsing experience and to prevent abusers from hogging the bandwidth, which can impact other users’ experience.
If you have breached your allocated quota, your internet speed will be managed to ensure other users are not impacted.
How can I check my quota usage?

If my base quota depleted, can I continue to browse?
Yes, once your allocated internet quota has finished, the speed will be managed at a lower speed (64kbps) until your next billing cycle. To continue enjoying the Business Broadband Service at the regular speed, you may purchase quota upgrades via your OneBusiness Hub account.
What are the available time-based passes that I can purchase?

What’s the difference between Wireless Broadband and Business Broadband?
The Wireless Broadband plan is used with a pocket MiFi device and is meant to be used on-the-go. It does not have call and SMS capabilities.
The Business Broadband plan is used with a modem device and is meant to be used within an office or a fixed location. It comes with free call minutes.
Can I purchase the modem without a contract?
No, the devices are sold as a bundle with the plans.
