All postpaid customers who have an active personal Maxis mobile number are eligible for this service. For Business accounts, kindly check with your respective company policy.
NOTE: Maxis and Hotlink Wireless Broadband and Maxis Fibre Internet/Maxis Home Fibre Internet customers are not eligible to participate in this service.
What’s the difference between subscribing to Spotify Premium on my own versus via Maxis?

How do I subscribe to Spotify Premium via Maxis?
Step 1: Turn off your wifi connection and make sure you are on Maxis Network.
Step 2: Visit Maxis Spotify page at http://m.maxis.com.my/spotify.
Step 3: Register for new Spotify account.
Step 4: Download Spotify and enjoy the music!
How do I know if I have activated the service?
You will receive a confirmation SMS after you have successfully subscribed to the service.
I am an existing Spotify Premium customer, however I did not sign up via Maxis for my Spotify Premium account. How do I enjoy this offer?
You will need to de-activate your current Spotify Premium account before its renewal period.
How do I check my music usage?
We will be launching this feature in the MyMaxis App soon. To ensure that you get this feature, do update your app to the latest version.
I have just subscribed to Maxis-Spotify Premium 30 days free trial. What happens next?
For new users, the Maxis-Spotify Premium service will automatically renew after 30 days. Customer then has the option to unsubscribe from the service before renewal date.
Note: New users means users who had never registered a Spotify account (regardless it is via Maxis or not via Maxis)
Maxis have charged me in full (RM14.90) for Spotify Premium in the last bill statement. I have registered and used it for less than a month. Why am I not pro-rated for the service?
Spotify is a third party service that Maxis is exclusively bringing to our customers and the full charge for Spotify is taken on the very first day of subscription. That is why we are not able to pro-rate this service.
I am a supplementary line under MaxisONE Share. Am I entitled for the free Maxis-Spotify Premium with free music streaming 24/7 too?
No, you will need to pay for the monthly subscription fee of RM9.99 (monthly subscription price valid until 23rd Oct 2016) or RM14.90 (From 23rd Oct 2016 onwards). Streaming songs would consume your internet quota.
I am a supplementary line under MaxisONE Share and my Principal line is enjoying the Maxis-Spotify Premium service. How do I share the service too?
No, you will need to pay for the monthly subscription fee of RM14.90.
Once I have registered, can I access Spotify via other Internet or Wi-Fi connections?
Yes, Spotify is accessible via other Internet and Wi-Fi connections.
How do I know if my device is compatible with the Spotify application?

Can I access my Spotify Premium account on other supported devices?
Yes, you can access your Spotify premium account on other supported devices. However, only one device is able to stream music on that account at any one time.
Will accessing the Spotify service consume my Internet quota?
Yes, accessing the service will consume your Internet quota. Alternatively, you can use the Spotify service over a Wi-Fi connection.
Note: Customer on MaxisONE plan 98 would receive 3GB free data for music streaming.
What will happen after I unsubscribe to Spotify Premium? Will my Spotify account be fully deactivated?
Upon reaching the renewal date ,your Spotify account will be downgraded to the ‘Spotify Free’ version. Your playlist will still be maintained but you will not be able to play songs on-demand. Your offline/downloaded songs will be deleted from your device and you will have to listen to advertisements in between songs. You will not be able to stream high quality music.

How do I unsubscribe the service?
Please ensure that you've turned off your WiFi connection and you are on Maxis network. Also, do turn OFF data saver on your internet browser settings.
