When can I apply?
You can submit your applications any time during the year. We have 2 intakes a year, i.e. March/April and August/September. Your application will be matched to the
nearest intake.


How do I apply?
You can apply through the Maxis careers section in our website (www.maxis.com.my) or through our advertisement in Jobstreet. You’ll need to submit your application along with your SPM, pre-university and university results.

What is the recruitment process?
After we have received your resume and transcripts, we will run your application through our preliminary screening process.
If you pass our screening process, we will invite you for Phase 1 of M-MAP Recruitment, the Maxis Day. Here, you will be assessed through various exciting recruitment tools including aptitude tests and leadership assessments.
If you are successful during Maxis Day, you will be invited for Phase 2: two back-to-back interviews by our Human Resources team and the M-MAP Office. Upon passing Phase 2, you will be invited for Phase 3-A final SLT Interview with a member of our Senior Leadership Team, (please refer to the SLT team list found on the Maxis website) who will be partnered with our Senior General Manager from the Human
Resources Division.

What is the duration of the programme?
The programme runs for a total of 2 years.

What do the job attachments entail?
Management Associates go through 4 job attachments of 6 months each across the organization, which are specially selected to give the Management Associates a good overview of Maxis.

  • Job Attachment 1 (Customer Intimacy) will allow Management Associates to gain business exposure in service customer-facing roles, including the Contact Centre, the special Case Management unit and Retail.
  • Job Attachment 2 (Technical Expertise) brings Management Associates to our core technology back-end function, where they will get full telco exposure. They will be posted to tech-focused departments like Network, Engineering & Operations, Next Generation Broadband and Technology Development.
  • Job Attachment 3 (Operational Excellence) allows Management Associates to move to the rest of the business units in Maxis and apply all the fundamentals of business operations. Some of the possible attachment departments include Broadband, Consumer Business, Human Resources, Finance, Information Services, Internal Audit, Product Development, International Operations and others.
  • Job Attachment 4 (Team Leadership) gives Management Associates the opportunity to either lead or manage a project or small team. This attachment can be conducted in the same department as Job Attachment 3 or in a different one.
