How Are Calls Charged?
When you make calls to a mobile number, the call charge depends
on where the person you are calling is registered, not where
they actually are.
Calls are charged according to
Current location of the caller.
Place of registration of the Receiving
Party.
Example 1:
Your line is registered in Kuala Lumpur. You travel up to Penang.
If you make a call from Penang to someone back in KL (whose
line is registered in KL), it is considered an adjacent call
because you are located in Penang and the receiver is registered
in KL.
Example 2:
Your line is registered in Kuala Lumpur. Your friend from Penang
(whose line is registered in Penang) comes down to KL and places
a call to you, the call will be charged as a local call as the
caller is located in KL and the receiver is registered in KL.
