Scenario 1
A consumer electronics company regularly uses SMS/MMS Campaign Manager to
promote its new products or marketing activities. This month, the company
uses SMS/MMS contest to promote its annual warehouse sale.
A broadcast of 100,000 messages with the contest question was sent via
SMS/MMS. Upon receiving the SMS/MMS, customers had to reply with the correct
answer. Concurrently, advertisements were placed in newspapers announcing
the sale and publishing the contest questions as well. Customers who
saw the advertisement could also participate in the contest by sending
in their answer to a shortcode number.
Winners who answer correctly will then get a reply message that entitles
them to redeem an additional discount at the sale.
Scenario 2
A major oil and gas company uses SMS/MMS Campaign Manager to communicate
with loyalty card members. They use SMS/MMS Campaign Manager to:
- Send promotional messages.
- Send discount voucher SMS/MMS for selected products at petrol kiosks.
